Why kosher? While kosher has religious importance, many people from different backgrounds look to kosher certification for confirmation that a food product has been made with care and that the ingredients and factory have been inspected and approved by a qualified independent inspector. Zota is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union and carries the OU mark. This means that the Orthodox Union has inspected the ingredients and processes used to make Zota and has certified them as kosher. The Orthodox Union is the largest kosher certifier in the world, certifying over 400,000 products from over 5,000 production facilities in 77 countries.
